Connect Claude to Orbox.
One setup works in claude.ai and in Claude Desktop. You add a connector, sign in to Orbox, upload the skill and you’re done. No token, no config file.
Back to MCP serverWhat you need
- An Orbox account and a Claude account.
- Free, Pro and Max: you set everything up yourself.
- Team and Enterprise: the owner adds the connector and the skill first, then each member connects.
- Code execution and file creation turned on in Claude Settings → Capabilities (needed for skills).
Connector URL
https://orbox.dev/api/mcp1. Add the Orbox connector
Free, Pro and Max
- In Claude open Customize → Connectors, click + and choose Add custom connector.
- Name: Orbox. URL: https://orbox.dev/api/mcp
- Leave the advanced OAuth fields (Client ID, secret) empty and click Add.
- Click Connect next to Orbox. Claude opens the Orbox sign-in.
Team and Enterprise
- Owner: Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web, with the same name and URL. Leave the OAuth fields empty.
- Each member: Customize → Connectors, find Orbox and click Connect.
Each member signs in with their own Orbox account, so the agent always sees only what that person can see.
On the Orbox consent screen
- Check that the redirect goes to claude.ai.
- Pick Read and write if Claude should map and edit processes, or Read only. Nothing is pre-selected.
- Click Allow. You’re back in Claude and the connector shows as connected.
2. Install the orbox-process skill
The connector gives Claude the tools, the skill gives it the method for mapping processes well. Install both.
Free, Pro and Max
- Download orbox-process.zip (don’t unzip it).
- Customize → Skills, click + → Create skill → Upload a skill and pick the zip.
- Turn the skill on.
Team and Enterprise
- The owner uploads the zip the same way and shares the skill with the organization.
- Members turn it on under Customize → Skills.
To update the skill, download the latest zip and upload it again. Source: github.com/ordexai/orbox-skills
3. Try it
Start a new conversation, Claude loads the connector and the skill at the start. Then ask:
claude
What’s in my Orbox workspace? Show me the processes and the entity catalog.claude
Map our process for approving a supplier invoice.Claude interviews you, writes the process into Orbox as a draft and gives you a link. You verify and approve it in Orbox.
When something doesn’t work
- Claude doesn’t see the Orbox tools
- Start a new conversation. Check in the conversation’s tools menu that the Orbox connector is turned on.
- Connect fails or the consent page shows an error
- Click Connect again. Each attempt needs a fresh sign-in, an old link doesn’t work.
- Claude can read but not write
- You picked read-only. Disconnect the connector, connect again and choose Read and write.
- The skill doesn’t show up
- Turn on Code execution and file creation in Settings → Capabilities and upload the zip again, without unzipping it.
- You want to revoke access
- In Orbox go to Settings → Apps and tokens and revoke the Claude connection. A connection expires after 90 days anyway.
