Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern the use of Orbox, operated by Orbox Labs s.r.o.. Please read them before creating an account. The Czech version is the binding one; this English version is provided for convenience.
The Czech version of this document is binding.
1.Who we are
Orbox is operated by Orbox Labs s.r.o., company ID 29910340, registered office Pernerova 676/51, Karlín, 186 00 Prague 8, Czech Republic, entered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 452658 (“we”, “Orbox”). You can reach us at support@orbox.dev.
2.Scope and who Orbox is for
These terms form part of the contract between us and the person or company that creates an account (“customer”, “you”). They apply to the website, the Orbox application and all related services (together, the “service”).
Orbox is intended for businesses. By creating an account you confirm that you are using the service as part of your business or on behalf of the company you represent, and that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
If you are nonetheless a consumer, the mandatory rights you have under consumer protection law are not affected by anything in these terms. Section “Consumers” below applies to you.
3.Your account
You can sign up with an email address or through Google or Microsoft. You must give accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity in your account and in workspaces you own, including activity of members you invite.
Tell us without delay at support@orbox.dev if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
4.What the service does
Orbox helps you describe your company’s processes in a conversation, writes them up step by step and prepares a plan that a developer can use to automate them. The automation itself is built by you, your developer or a Partner.
Once a process runs, Orbox can monitor it: through the API or MCP of the tools you connect, it checks that each step really happened and tells you when the process does not run as described. Orbox only connects to the tools you choose, reads only what it needs for those checks and does not change anything in them. You can disconnect a tool at any time. Monitoring is optional; describing processes works without connecting anything.
Parts of the service are generated by artificial intelligence. You are always told when you are talking to AI. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect, so review it before you rely on it or put any automation into operation. You remain responsible for the decisions you make and the automations you run.
We continuously improve the service and may change, add or remove features. If a change materially reduces a paid feature you rely on, we will tell you in advance.
5.Plans, credits and payment
The current plans, credit allowances and prices are listed on the Pricing page. The free plan is provided free of charge and may be changed or limited at any time.
- Prices are in US dollars and include VAT. We are registered for VAT and you receive a tax invoice for every payment.
- Paid plans are billed in advance for the chosen period (monthly or annually) and renew automatically for the same period until cancelled.
- Plans are priced by the credits they include, not by users. A workspace can have any number of members, and they all draw from its shared credits.
- Credits are consumed in two ways: by AI work in the chat (describing and editing processes) and by monitoring (each step Orbox checks in a connected tool). The current rates are on the Pricing page. Alerts about a process that does not run as described are not charged.
- Credits from a paid plan stay valid for 2 months after they are added. Free daily credits are valid until the end of the day and the monthly monitoring allowance until the end of the month. Unused credits then expire and are not refundable or exchangeable for money.
- When your credits run out, new AI work and monitoring pause until your credits renew or you change your plan, and we tell you that monitoring has stopped. Your content is not deleted.
- You can cancel at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are not refunded unless the law requires it.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. If a payment fails, we may limit paid features until it is settled.
- We may change prices with effect from your next billing period. We will tell you at least 30 days in advance, and you may cancel before the change takes effect.
6.Acceptable use
You must not use the service in a way that breaks the law or harms us or others. In particular you must not:
- upload content you have no right to use, or content that is unlawful;
- enter special categories of personal data (such as health data) or data of children unless it is strictly necessary and you have a legal basis for it;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access, test vulnerabilities without our permission, overload or disrupt the service;
- reverse engineer the service, resell it or circumvent usage limits or credits;
- use the service for practices prohibited by the EU Artificial Intelligence Act.
If you breach these rules, we may suspend the affected account or content. We will normally warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem, unless the breach is serious or the law requires immediate action.
7.Your content and intellectual property
The process descriptions, files and other content you put into Orbox, and the outputs generated for you, belong to you. You give us a non-exclusive licence to store, process and display that content only to the extent needed to provide and secure the service for you.
We do not use your content to train AI models, and our AI providers are contractually barred from doing so.
Orbox itself, including its software, design and brand, belongs to us. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve the service without any obligation to you.
8.Personal data
How we handle personal data about you is described in the Privacy Policy.
Where your content contains personal data of other people (for example your colleagues or customers), you act as the controller and we process that data on your behalf. The Data Processing Agreement forms part of these terms and governs that processing.
9.Orbox Partners
Orbox Partners are independent automation companies that build automations from processes described in Orbox. Through Orbox you can ask to be introduced to a Partner.
- Any work you order from a Partner is agreed directly between you and the Partner. Orbox is not a party to that contract.
- The Partner sets the scope, price, schedule and payment terms of its work and is solely responsible for the work, for any warranty and for handling complaints.
- We select Partners, but we do not guarantee their work and are not liable for it. Choose a Partner and agree terms with it as you would with any other supplier.
- Introductions are free. We take no fee from you or from the Partner for them.
- A Partner gets access to your workspace only if you invite it, and you can remove that access at any time. A Partner costs you nothing as a member, but its AI work and any monitoring it sets up use your workspace’s shared credits.
- If a Partner brought you to Orbox, we pay the Partner a commission from your payments for Orbox under the Partner Program Terms. The commission comes out of our revenue and is never added to the price you pay.
If you have a problem with a Partner, tell us at the contact on the Legal notice page. We may suspend or remove a Partner that breaks its commitments.
10.Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, no specific service level applies.
11.Liability
We are liable for damage we cause by breaching these terms, subject to the following limits, which the parties agree on as businesses:
- we are not liable for lost profit, indirect damage or damage caused by decisions or automations based on AI output that you did not review;
- our total liability for all claims in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in those 12 months, and for the free plan to USD 100;
- these limits do not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, to harm to a person’s life, health or other natural rights, or where the law does not allow liability to be limited.
12.Ending the contract
You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate the contract with 30 days’ notice, or with immediate effect if you seriously breach these terms.
After the contract ends you can export your processes for 30 days. We then delete your content, except for data we are required to keep by law (for example invoices).
13.Reporting illegal content
If you come across content in Orbox that you believe is illegal, report it to support@orbox.dev. Tell us where the content is and why you think it is illegal. We handle reports promptly and objectively, and if we restrict content we explain why to the person affected, as required by the EU Digital Services Act.
14.Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for good reason, for example because of changes in the law or in the service. We will notify you by email or in the application at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you disagree, you may terminate the contract before that date; otherwise the new terms apply from the effective date.
15.Consumers
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a paid contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason. By starting to use the service during that period you agree that we begin providing it, and if you withdraw you pay a proportionate part of the price for the period used.
You can resolve a dispute out of court through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.gov.cz, adr.coi.cz).
16.Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Czech law, in particular the Civil Code (Act No. 89/2012 Coll.), excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Disputes will be decided by the Czech court with jurisdiction over our registered office, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
These terms take effect on 18 August 2026.
